- 1 year in Chicago, USA, studying and working as an intern with Merrill Lynch.
- 2 years in Taiwan, studying Mandarin Chinese at the Culture University while working part-time teaching English.
- 3 months in Jordan, as an Intern on an EU funded project implemented by the British Council supporting Syrian refugees and Jordanians in achieving their educational goals. I also took the opportunity to study the Levantine dialect of Arabic.
- 3 years in Bahrain, working at the British Council as Country Lead on equality, diversity and inclusion, staff committee member and teacher of English, while also studying Classical Arabic.
