LASER Project, Jordan Intern  July 2016 – September 2016

  • EU funded project implemented by the British Council supporting Syrian refugees and Jordanians in achieving their educational goals.
  • Responsible for digital marketing for the project, increasing the number of applicants and created eye-catching banners on Facebook leading to an increase of 438% in page views, 1383% increase in page likes, 296% increase in page reach and 116% increase in post engagement.
  • Ensured the British Council reputation was maintained by composing templates for correspondence with candidates.
  • Interviewed approximately 500 Syrian refugees to assess their suitability for a scholarship.
  • Liaised with team members in different countries to ensure tasks were completed in a timely manner.
